OKLAHOMA CITY -

Crews responded to a wreck involving a car that traveled all the way through a house in southwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday evening.

It happened Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of S.W. 81st Street, according to officials.

Officials say the car traveled all the way through the home and exited in the backyard.

News 9 has learned the renter of the home had just walked away from the area, while holding her baby granddaughter, when the car came crashing through.

We spoke with Ed Turner, a family friend who was in the backyard mowing at the time of the incident.

"It was just an unbelievable experience," said Turner. "It's just like a bomb. I mean there is bricks all over the place, there's furniture, there's the whole side of this house is completely demolished."

No injuries have been reported at this time, and the driver's identity has not been released.
