After a cool start following last night’s rain, we’ll warm up into the upper 80s and lower 90s this afternoon with another opportunity for scattered showers and thunderstorms.
The extended forecast shows a dry Saturday and a slight chance for storms in northwest Oklahoma Sunday afternoon and evening.
Labor Day will be hot and dry before another slight chance of rain moves into northern Oklahoma on Tuesday.
The heat dome will build back over the southern USA next Wednesday, giving way to more hot and dry conditions for the first week of September.
