TULSA, Oklahoma - Severe weather is making its way through much of northeastern Oklahoma on this Labor Day.

Earlier in the evening, northern Craig, Osage and Ottawa counties in Oklahoma were under tornado warnings. Meteorologist Mike Grogan said there were reports of tennis ball-sized hail in the area.

Chautauqua County in Kansas was also under a tornado warning and there were reports of a tornado hitting the ground.

The National Weather Service has issued severe thunderstorm watch until 3:00 Tuesday morning for Adair, Cherokee, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Payne, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties in northeastern Oklahoma and Benton and Washington counties in Arkansas and Chautauqua and Montgomery counties in southern Kansas.

Craig, Mayes, Nowata, Rogers and Washington counties are under a severe thunderstorm warning, according to the NWS.

There have also been multiple reports of power outages near Bartlesville. PSO said over 8,000 customers have been reported without power in Washington County and 150 outages are reported in Osage County.

Kary Cox, with Washington County Emergency Management, said that there are multiple lines down and that crews are on backup generator at the emergency operations center.

They've also had reports of 80 mile per hour wind, and crews are working to clear roadways so PSO can assist in power restoration.

Cox said sirens did sound in the Copan area due to rotation. She said they don't have a damage report or assessment from the Dewey area.
