Spotty showers and wet road conditions greeted many Green Country commuters Monday morning. The forecast calls for chances of light rain off and on during the morning.
Skies were expected to partly clear later in the day with more showers returning in the evening.
"A surface boundary to the north of the state will move southward this afternoon and evening bringing a few scattered thunderstorms to portions of eastern Oklahoma late tonight," said WARN Team Meteorologist Alan Crone.

"One or two of these storms may produce some gusty winds, but severe weather is not likely to occur with this front."
Another chance of rain comes mid week with a cold front expected to push into the area Saturday night and Sunday morning. That will bring increased thunderstorm chances.
