The crew of Osage SkyNews 6 HD got a treat while flying over Okfuskee County on Monday.

Pilot Will Kavanagh and Photojournalist Michael Woods were helping the EPA look for the source of a petroleum leak in the Deep Fork River when they spotted a bald eagle flying over the water.

The crew had just crossed into eastern Okfuskee County when they saw the huge bird. As it landed in a tree, they circled back to get a better shot. When they zoomed in for a closeup they discovered the bird of prey was staring them down.

Osage SkyNews 6 HD was about a half a mile from the eagle, but the helicopter's camera is so powerful the video makes it look like the two were just a few feet apart.
