TPD To Hold 'Talks On The Green' In Community Outreach Series

The Tulsa Police Department and the Family Service Center answered people's questions on safety Wednesday afternoon at Guthrie Green.

It's part of a new Q&A series called "Talks on the Green with TPD," and they are planned as weekly sessions. Each week, officers will discuss different safety topics. This Wednesday's talk was about family safety and domestic violence.

The talks also will take place during Food Truck Wednesdays, so people can also enjoy lunch while they're on the Green.

The events last until about 1 p.m. each week.
