A little bit of rain didn't stop the Heart of America farm show from kicking off Thursday near Beggs.
The free event has over 100 exhibitors – national and local – with all the latest farm and ranch equipment.
“Everything from the urban farmer to the full-fledge farmer,” said Farm Show Director, Kevin Kite.
Friday and Saturday show goers can also see many events, including the cow-dog demos, a consignment equipment auction and the Oklahoma Farm Bureau is sponsoring a kids' safety day-camp, and kids will get lunch afterwards.
For Saturday, people can see the PRCA Rodeo; $10 for adults and $5 for kids seven to 12.
The show is open from 9:00 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. until September 20th, for more information you can visit the Heart Of America farm show online.
