We're just one day away from Oklahoma State hosting Texas Tech on a special Thursday night in Stillwater. To get you ready, here are five predictions for what we'll see.

1. Daxx Garman will take a step forward

Garman has thrown for 559 yards and four touchdowns along with completing 57-percent of his passes, but for some that's not enough. Garman has taken heat for missing easy completions and a general lack of awareness.

But it's easy to forget that Garman hasn't played competitive football in years, and reading D-1 defenses isn't exactly like riding a bike. Look for the strong-armed junior to take his performance to another lever against the Red Raiders lowly defense.

2. Tyreek Hill will score his first touchdown

Some call him a running back, others call him a receiver; we all call him fast. The junior speedster has 211 combined yards of offense this season along with 221 return yards but has yet to find the end zone. That changes Thursday night in Stillwater. At some point, Texas Tech's defense will break down and Hill will outrun everyone to the house.

3. OSU's defense will hold Tech to fewer than 100 rushing yards

Tech has rushed for 170 yards per game this season, which sounds impressive, but much of it has come against inferior competition. OSU's defensive front is stout, and if the Pokes can grab an early lead, Tech will fall back into gunslinger mode. Look for the Cowboys to bottle up that run game and force the Raiders to chuck it 50-60 times.

4. The Cowboys will force at least three TTU turnovers

Tech has turned it over six times in three games while only taking it away twice. TTU quarterback Davis Webb tossed two picks against Central Arkansas and two more against real Arkansas, so you can bet that the OSU defense is ready to pounce.

5. Pokes will win by more than expected

The line on this one is only 14 points. If the Red Raiders can't do better than a 21-point loss at HOME to Arkansas, it's hard to see them coming within two scores at rowdy Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys have won five straight in this matchup including an 18-point road win last season, a 38-point win two years ago and the infamous 60-point beatdown in 2011.
