Police: Catoosa Family Tied Up, Robbed During Home Invasion

Catoosa police are investigating after a family of three was tied up in their home and robbed early Sunday morning.

Catoosa police are investigating after a family of three was tied up in their home and robbed early Sunday morning.

A man told police he was coming home from working at his taco trailer near 21st Street and Garnett when he was approached by three men. He said they might have been in a black SUV.

The man said he parked his car at his home near Admiral and 193rd when the men approached, flashed a badge and made him go inside, according to reports.

The man told police once they were inside the men tied up him, his wife and their adult son while the men robbed the house.

According to police, at least two of the men had guns. They said the robbers threatened to harm a family member or take one of them if they didn't give them money.

The victims said they didn't have a clear description of the men, but said two of them spoke Spanish and the other appeared to a black male.

Police said the men took cash, the exact amount is unknown, but said it was over $1,000.

No one was hurt and the investigation is ongoing.
