Community Shows Support For Moore Attack Victims

Family and friends of the two victims attacked inside the Vaughan Foods in Moore are paying tribute.

There is now a GoFundMe account for the surviving victim and a Facebook page to remember Colleen Hufford, who was beheaded.

There is also a memorial outside the food processing plant in honor of the victims.

And for the first time Monday night, we're hearing about the legacy of Colleen Hufford and the tough road ahead for Traci Johnson.

Colleen Hufford, 54, was grabbed at random, allegedly by Alton Nolen, and beheaded.

Authorities say 43-year-old Traci Johnson was Nolen's next victim and was stabbed multiple times, but survived.

The chief operating officer at Vaughan Foods is also a reserve Oklahoma County deputy. He stopped the heinous attack by shooting Nolen with a rifle.

Hundreds have reached out to provide support and comfort for the family of Colleen through a memorial page on Facebook.

The creator says the page wasn't created "for blame, hatred, or negativity towards any person, group of people, religion, or political party."

Several pictures are posted of the grandmother.

Those who knew her described Colleen as woman who always had a smile on her face.

Traci Johnson, Colleen's coworker, told a high school friend the attack happened right in front of her.

Jenny Smith Johnson created the GoFundMe account for Traci and posts on the page that Traci "sounds very good, but is dealing with a lot of emotional things right now."

She said Traci asked that people keep her family in prayer, even more than her and said the donations have moved her to tears.

Colleen's family is not ready to speak with the media and asked that people respect them during their time of loss.

Police told News 9 Traci Johnson has been released from the hospital and is home recovering.
