For the first time since the horrific attack on two workers at the Vaughan Food plant in Moore, one victim's family is now ready to talk about it publicly.

Since that attack on September 25, the attention was all on the suspect, Alton Nolen -- his background and his possible motive. But on Wednesday at the Moore Public Library, we will hear from Kelli Hufford, the only daughter of one victim, Colleen Hufford.

Kelli is expected to talk about the impact her mother had on her life and certainly how the family anticipates their lives will be changed since her death.

Colleen was a wife, a mother and she had one granddaughter Riley. She was born in Germany and moved to Montana. Later in her life she met her husband KC, and they shared a passion for hockey.

Several days after she was killed in what police are calling workplace violence, the family issued a statement saying in part that the violence of her killing "adds a depth of grief we are trying to comprehend."

Kelli will also take time to thank the public for the outpouring of support. As of now a memorial fund set up by a friend in Edmond is just shy of its $10,000 goal.

Organizers of the fund said the money will go to funeral expenses and to her granddaughter's college fund.
