OHP: Elderly Woman Dies In Tulsa Crash

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman died in a crash Thursday morning on Highway 75 just north of 56th Street North.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a woman died in a crash Thursday morning on Highway 75 just north of 56th Street North.

Troopers said Geraldine Cochran, 84, of Tulsa was southbound on 75 at 10:14 a.m. when her 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis left the highway and side-swiped a concrete bridge wall then hit a tree.

EMSA transported Cochran to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The OHP report states Cochran's car left no brake marks before hitting the tree. Troopers are still investigating the cause.
