Workers at a Tulsa Golden Corral restaurant say they will repair a grill after a fire broke out early Monday.
The Tulsa Fire Department got the call just before 1:30 a.m. to the restaurant at 21st and Memorial after carpet cleaners arrived and felt a lot of heat inside. Firefighters said when the workers looked in the kitchen they spotted the fire and called for help.
The fire department said an overhead hood fire suppression system activated and extinguished the flames. No one was injured and restaurant officials told firefighters they expected the business to be back open sometime Monday.
