Some Green Country kids are trying to get the message across that texting and driving can be deadly.
They demonstrated what can happen for about 1,000 of their fellow students Monday.
Oologah high schoolers want people to know that it only takes a second to take someone's life, but they don't want to tell other students what to do, only get them to ask themselves a question.
"Do you value replying to that text or email or whatever it is you just got more than the life of someone sitting in your passenger seat," asked Oologah student, Ridge Clark.
Monday's demonstration also served as practice for first responders with eleven different agencies.
