Preparations Underway For The Annual Tulsa Run

City of Tulsa workers have already erected barricades and signs ahead of Saturday's annual Tulsa Run.

While the race isn't until Saturday morning, some Tulsa streets are already shut down and if your vehicle is parked on one those streets, the city says it will be towed.

Officials say if you parked near the Tulsa Run's finish line on Boston between 4th and 5th, your vehicle will be towed. Your vehicle will also be towed if you parked near the finish line of the Tulsa Run on Boulder between 5th and 6th Streets. And Saturday, if you park your vehicle anywhere along the race course, it will be towed.

In August, race organizers announced a change in the Tulsa Run's race course due to construction of The Gathering Place, a $350-million park project. The Tulsa Sports Commission said the changes involved a portion of Riverside Drive.
