A Bartlesville businesswoman charged with helping to steal thousands of dollars from investors pleaded guilty in Washington County court Monday to six counts of conspiracy.

Marya Gray, 51, was charged in state court in 2013 after the Security and Exchange Commission filed a federal fraud complaint against her and former Bartlesville financial advisor Larry Dearman, 41. The SEC says the pair raised at least $4.7 million through illegal schemes.

At Monday's hearing, the judge ordered Gray to serve 10 years in prison on the first count of conspiracy and five additional years on the second conspiracy count and suspended the sentences on the the remaining conspiracy counts.

In August 2014, Larry Dearman pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 10 years in prison each on two counts of embezzlement, 10 years each on two conspiracy counts and 10 years on an obtaining money by false pretense count. The judge suspended sentencing on the remaining 11 counts and ordered the five 10-year sentences to be served concurrently.

Gray and Dearman still face nearly two-dozen civil lawsuits in Nowata County, Osage County and Washington County courts by former clients.
