Investigators have determined that a deadly officer involved shooting in a LeFlore County was justified.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says Undersheriff Kendall Morgan had no choice when he shot and killed Freddie Cooper earlier this month. Cooper was holding four people hostage at a home in Spiro, according to investigators.

They said Cooper had guns in both hands, and when he pointed the weapons at deputies, Morgan fired.

Cooper also broke into several homes in the area, deputies said.
