Lightning Strike Sets Owasso Home On Fire

Lightning damaged the roof and part of the second floor of an Owasso home overnight. 

The Owasso Fire Department responded to the home in the 11000 block of East 119th Street North at about 1 a.m.

The strike sparked a fire in the garage. Smoke detectors activated and alerted the three people inside. By the time firefighters arrived, all three were already outside. 

Firefighters knocked the fire down quickly. No one was injured and the Red Cross is assisting the family.
