Fans are doing anything to see Garth Brooks when he comes back to Tulsa in January - including forking over $800 for tickets that haven't even gone on sale yet.

The BOK Center said it only guarantees Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood tickets that will be sold on Ticketmaster and Brooks' personal website, but said some fans are being taken advantage of.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 14th, but fans should beware of online scams.

Super-fan Katie Hall jumped at the chance to see Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood perform at the BOK Center. She spent $810 for four tickets, even though BOK said all tickets are $70.

"If they are not real, I don't know if I will be able to get my money back," Hall said.

She used more than two weeks' worth of pay to sit way up in section 302.

“I thought I was never going to be able to see him, and when I heard he was coming back my mom instantly called me and said ‘he is going to be here. You need to know this is when tickets go on sale,'” said Hall.

She Googled around and went to the arena's website but said it took her to a site called Tulsa Tickets. She selected a section and paid for tickets that aren't really going on sale until next week.

"I called the company after they sent the verification emails about the purchase of the tickets. They said ‘yes it is legit, you will get your tickets by Jan 11 by Fed Ex,'” said Hall.

The assistant general manager at the BOK said no seats have been sold and scalpers cannot guarantee seats, or even a section, even though they're already for sale on several websites.

Ticketmaster will sell all seats for $70 Friday, November 14th.

Hall said she just wants to warn other fans and now she hopes she will actually get to see Brooks.

"He is from Oklahoma, he resonates with true Oklahomans, and the fact that he hasn't been here in 17 years is really big to people,” Hall said.

Her credit card company said she will have to wait to see if the tickets are real before they can dispute the charges.

BOK has put a statement on their Facebook page about the dos and don'ts of buying tickets for the concert.
