Ardmore Police Department issued an Amber Alert Saturday night a 7-year-old girl. Sunday morning, they are re-interviewing witnesses as they search for the young girl.

"They are checking all leads that have been reported to them," Oklahoma Amber Alert Coordinator Gene Thaxton said early Sunday.

Authorities said she was last seen wearing blue jean capri pants, a light blue shirt with a lighter blue tie dye over it, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt that zips in the front with 'Old Navy' printed across the front, and purple and pink Converse low-top shoes.

Police described her as a white female with light brown hair, weighing about 40 pounds. Police also said her two front teeth are partially grown in.

The suspect in the case has not been identified. However, witnesses told police he was a tall, white male with short, straight hair. He was reportedly wearing tight-fitting jeans.

Police said he was seen pulling the victim into a silver PT Cruiser with tinted windows at 3 p.m. on the 800 block of NW "H" Street.

License plate information was not immediately available. According to Oklahoma Amber Alert Coordinator Gene Thaxton, if there is no tag number available, there is no notification sent to cell phone companies for them to send out the Amber Alert. Thaxton said this is a guideline created by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Call police if you have any information.
