Police arrested three suspects accused of stealing nearly $15,000 worth of merchandise from several retail stores at the Penn Square Mall.

Police arrested three suspects accused of stealing nearly $15,000 worth of merchandise from several retail stores at the Penn Square Mall.

According to police, at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the report of a group of organized shoplifters targeting retail stores at the Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City. 

When officers arrived, they arrested three suspects, later identified as 45-year-old Clemencia Morales, 24-year-old Teresa Flores, and 41-year-old Wally Vargas Lopez. 

According to police, in a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Morales, officers found several large garbage bags containing clothing stolen from various retails stores in the mall. Police said the stolen items were worth between $10,000 and $15,000.

All three were booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on multiple charges, including six counts of larceny of merchandise from a retailer, and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
