Several World War II veterans are proving you're never too old to serve your country.

The veterans delivered thank you cards and flowers to other veterans at the VA hospital in Claremore Monday.

The pair were part of a group of about a dozen volunteers that made the delivery. It took them two days to write out the thank you cards and collect flowers.

"They truly are the greatest generation and it's hard to fathom the sacrifices they've made for our country. So we feel really honored and blessed to tell them how much they mean for us today," said Shannon Stewart, Senior Star at the Arbors.

The group from the Senior Star at the Arbors Assisted Living community just wanted to say a special thanks to each and every veteran.
