Oral Roberts University cut the ribbon on their new International Center Friday.
The center was created to help with ORU's recent influx of international students. The center will allow international students to gather together and help each other with the unique needs they encounter.
In fact, this semester alone the college admitted students from over 80 countries.
"It's like a small global village. And this International Student Center will connect student from all over the world. It's like traveling abroad without going out of Tulsa," Larissa Nugroho, Indonesian ORU student.
To help attract international students - ORU recently created five new degree programs focused on global studies. They hope the center will be a place were the international students will be able to gather and help each other.
