Funeral Held For Owasso Police Officer

An Owasso police officer was laid to rest on Saturday afternoon.

Detective Bill Mozingo passed away on Wednesday of natural causes.

Family and friends paid their respects at the Performing Arts Center in Owasso.

Mozingo had been a member of the Owasso Police Department since 1991. He was an Owasso High School graduate and served the country in the United States Army.

He received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Rogers State and began his law enforcement career with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
