TULSA, Oklahoma - Tuesday morning's low temperature of 14 degrees in Tulsa beat the record low by 5 degrees for this date set in 1951. 

The National Weather Service says Tulsa wasn't the only Oklahoma town to set a record Tuesday.  The Pittsburg County community of McAlester's temperature of 15 degrees Tuesday, beat a record set in 1959 of 17 degrees.
