TU men's basketball dominated Abilene Christian University Wednesday night, 65-39.

Tulsa came out strong in the first half. By the 13:55 mark, TU was leading ACU 6-5. At the 13:26 mark, sophomore guard Stevie Repichowski hit a three-pointer, advancing the Golden Hurricane lead by four. ACU's Austin Cooke matched that with a three of his own, closing TU's lead to one. With ten minutes in the half, Tulsa began to pick up their momentum. TK Edogi went up strong for two, followed by a three from Rashad Ray. By this time, TU was leading ACU 14-8. At the 9:02 mark, LaDarrien Williams put up two more points for ACU down low. ACU was now trailing Tulsa by four points again. With 8:41 to go, Marquel Curtis got fouled on a fast break and made the bucket, but missed the free throw in his opportunity for a three-point play. With six minutes left, James Woodard hit a three-pointer for Tulsa, increasing their lead to 23-15. By this time, TU began to take off on ACU. With less than 5 minutes in the half, D'Andre Wright was fouled and made both free throws, giving TU a 14 point lead over the Wildcats. TU played good defense, holding ACU to 17 points for multiple ball possessions, while dishing out many blocked shots. By the end of the half, TU led ACU 33-19.

Opening the second half, Golden Hurricane Rashad Smith dumped it in under the basket. After that, Wright hit an under the basket shot, followed by a three-pointer. ACU was now trailing by 18. With 15 minutes left in the half, Woodard hit a three, and then came back up court and scored on a fast break layup. At the 15:26 mark, TU was leading 47-24. Tulsa didn't slow down the rest of the game, defeating ACU by 26 points.
