Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a commercial van driver was sick when he rear ended a Tulsa school bus filled with students Friday morning.

No injuries were reported.

The wreck took place at 8:47 am. on the westbound Interstate 244 exit ramp to Detroit Street in downtown Tulsa. Troopers say Raymond Joseph Bell Jr. was driving a van that ran into the back of a school bus stopped for the light.

Bell, 50, had become ill, according to a collision report.

There were 29 juveniles on the bus, all 14 or 15 years old, troopers say. Neither they nor the bus driver, 28-year-old Shunta Duckett, were hurt.
