Police Identify Body Found By Trash Truck Driver In Sapulpa Industrial Park

The Sapulpa Police Department has identified the body found in an industrial park south of I-44 overnight.

Police say the man was Paul Anthony Stallings, 25, of Tulsa.

Officers said a trash truck driver called police just after 1 a.m. after he found a body behind a car in the 6400 block of South 57th West Avenue. Police said the victim had been shot several times in the abdomen and there were multiple shell casings on the ground nearby.  

Police believe the car belonged to Stallings

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and the state Medical Examiner's Office are assisting with the investigation.  

Sapulpa Police say they have no further information to release at this time.
