Tulsa Police Release Name Of Woman Killed In Accidental Shooting
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police have released the name of the young woman who was killed in an accidental shooting Monday evening.
Officers say 26-year-old Christa Engles was changing her 1-year-old daughter's diaper when her 3-year-old son picked up a handgun that discharged.
Engles died of a single gunshot wound to the head, investigators say.
The fatal shooting took place in the living room of a home near 1st Street and 168th East Avenue. A grandmother who also lived in the home found Engles and the children.
The little boy's father was at work when the shooting happened.
