A Look Back At Andy Rooney's Thanksgiving Comedy Feast

The late Andy Rooney was a Sunday staple on 60 Minutes, oftentimes finding comedy in the small problems we encounter in our everyday lives. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Andy focused on what we should be grateful for over the holiday season.

One year, he even demonstrated turkey carving in only 3 minutes and 36 seconds.

"I'm going to show you how I carve a turkey," he said. "Not 'how to' carve a turkey, but how I carve it. I'm not an expert. I'm an experienced amateur. This is the platter I'm going to use. This is the platter I'm not going to use. A platter shouldn't have a picture of anything on it, and especially a picture of a live turkey. No one wants to be reminded about what happened to the bird."
