Runners Raise Hunger Awareness In Tulsa's Turkey Day 5K

Dozens of runners earned their turkey dinner Thursday after taking part in the "Turkey Day 5K." 

Runners took off from the Guthrie Green and raced right past the News On 6 in downtown Tulsa. 

Some of the smallest runners got off to the quickest start. Many started with hats, gloves and coats, but they shed those warm layers throughout the race. 

Runners hoped to shine a spotlight on the fight against hunger and raise awareness for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
