Kristin Chenoweth Concert Features Broken Arrow Performance

Friday is your chance to see Green Country's Own Kristin Chenoweth in concert, and you can do it from the comfort of your couch.

The Broken Arrow native's PBS special features the live shows she performed last August at her high school alma mater.

Chenoweth says recording live is a completely different experience than recording in the studio.

"I had to let a lot of things go because it's the emotion, it's the raw emotion of the moment, and there's tears and laughter during some of these songs, and you can hear it," she said.

The concert airs at 8 p.m. Friday on PBS. The music is available on her new album, Coming Home.
