Family Of Three Escapes Turley Travel Trailer Fire Unharmed

Fire destroyed a shed, a camper and travel trailer in Turley Tuesday morning but the people living in the trailer weren't hurt.

Firefighters said they got numerous calls about the fire next to a home in the 6300 block of North Quaker just before 6:10 a.m.

Turley Fire Chief Keith Ross says they were able to put out the fire quickly with the help of the Tulsa Fire Department. He said a family of three living in the trailer escaped unharmed.

Ross says the home next door sustained superficial damage but the camper, travel trailer and shed were lost.

Due to the size of the fire, Ross said Turley requested manpower help from the Tulsa Fire Department.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
