OKLAHOMA CITY - New influenza statistics released Thursday by the Oklahoma State Department of Health show 94 people have been hospitalized and two people have died in Oklahoma since reporting for the current flu season began this fall.

According to the OSDH, the two flu-related deaths occurred in Carter and Oklahoma counties.

OSDH began compiling statistics for the current flu season on September 28, 2014.
