Tulsa Police say a man who was shot in the head late Saturday night is not cooperating in their investigation. The shooting victim is expected to survive the wound.

Captain Laurel Ledbetter said EMSA called them to the Rosewood Apartments at 3148 East Tecumseh Street at about 11:45 p.m. They found a 35-year-old man who had been shot in the back of the head.

The man was conscious and able to talk.

He told police he had been dropped off at the apartment after being shot but would not tell them where he was when the shooting took place. He also didn't give them any suspect information, Ledbetter said.

There were a few people at the apartment with the man, but they also had no information to give police.

"We have very little physical evidence in the apartment; there was very little blood," she said. "We have very little out here at the scene to go on tonight."

Detectives will follow up to try to get more information on the crime, she said. The victim was taken to the hospital.
