An Army veteran and his family are celebrating their first Christmas in a new home.

It's not just any home for Joseph and Ashley Dixon; it's special because they got it mortgage-free in May as part of the Homes For Wounded Heroes program, through Bank of America.

Tuesday the bank was back for a little housewarming present in the form of a gift card.

The Dixons said they're especially excited for Christmas this year, since Santa got their change of address.

"Our kids have not had Christmas in their own home in probably seven or eight years. They've always woken up at my mom's house, which is a great thing, but it's nice to finally say 'Santa Claus came to our home this year,'" Ashley said.

Joseph said it's nice to know his family's still being thought of even after getting the home.
