Women's Soccer: TU's Rachel Thun Named Top Drawer

Tulsa women's soccer player Rachel Thun was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Freshman Best VI second team, and came in at #21 on the TDS Freshman Top 100 list, as announced by the same publication.

Thun, a midfielder from Oklahoma City, Okla., started in 19 of 20 games as a true freshman. She had eight goals and seven assists for 23 points, while attempting 56 shots for a 46.4 shots-on-goal percentage. Thun had two goals against Central Arkansas, and one each against Arkansas State, Missouri State, UMKC, Texas Tech, Temple and Cincinnati.

Thun was the only player in the American Athletic Conference tabbed to any of the Best VI teams, and was the highest rated league player in the Freshman Top-100.
