TULSA, Oklahoma - Academy Sports and Outdoors made the holidays a little brighter for students at Jones Elementary in Tulsa.

Thirty students who improved their attendance got a brand new bicycle and helmet from the store.

The school said it was a big surprise for the 15 girls and 15 boys who improved their attendance by 25 percent or more.

The school said students, sometimes, don't have a lot, so getting a new bike at Christmas time would be great for them and give them something to enjoy over break.

Academy said it's donating more than $250,000 worth of bikes and helmets this year across 15 states.
