TULSA, Oklahoma -

A Mayo Demonstration School second grader saw an invitation to donate to Trav's Coats For Kids and took the opportunity.

News On Six decided to help out Jeremiah Wheeler, by giving the thoughtful Cub Scout a collection bin and some flyers to pass out, then he got busy.

"Because there's kids out there, they need coats and their moms and dads can't just buy them coats," he said. "I hope that they get to the kids that, and grownups that, don't have coats and they'll feel happy."

Thanks to Jeremiah's efforts, 30 coats are headed to those in need.

You can donate too by taking a new or gently used coat to Yale Cleaners.

They'll will clean and mend them, then give them to Catholic Charities.
