Sand Springs police made an arrest after two brothers stabbed each other in a domestic dispute Christmas Eve. Christopher Silas Noyes is in the Tulsa Jail on complaints of first degree burglary and assault with a deadly weapon.

The brothers had argued earlier in the night at a home in the 400 block of North McKinley Avenue. That's when Noyes was stabbed in the stomach in what his brother said was self defense.

Noyes, 42, returned to the brother's house later that night and tried to kick in a door. When the brother opened the door, Noyes said, "Look what you did to me, you tried to kill me," the arresting officer said.

Police say Noyes pushed his brother against the kitchen sink and stabbed him in the stomach. The brother pushed Noyes outside, shoving the refrigerator up against the door before calling police.

The arrest report says Noyes kept trying to get into the home, then when police arrived was hiding in a vehicle in the alley behind the house.

Both men were treated for their stab wounds at a Tulsa hospital. Noyes was then taken to jail. Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show he has previous convictions for drug-related charges.

Sand Springs police say the brother that was not arrested was released from the hospital Christmas morning. They say he was defending his family, and they don't expect any charges to be brought against him.
