USGS has recorded an earthquake near Guthrie, OK., in Logan County, Friday evening.
The 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 9:21 p.m.
Its epicenter was located just three miles south of Guthrie, 11 miles north northeast of Edmond, and 24 miles north northeast of Oklahoma City, at a depth of about four miles.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
