OKC Police Look For Man In Connection To Fatal Shooting

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon.

Oklahoma City police are looking for a man in connection to a fatal shooting that happened Saturday afternoon.

According to police, at about 4 p.m., officers responded to the report of shots fired in the 3300 block of S.W. 51st Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim, later identified as 39-year-old Jason Beals, in a garage apartment behind the main house.

Beals was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, this is Oklahoma City's 61st homicide of 2014. 

Monday afternoon, Oklahoma City homicide investigators said they are looking for 23-year-old Travis Wayne Richards in connection with  Beals' death. Richards has active warrants for his arrest.
