Dozens of kids are ringing in the New Year at the Tulsa Children's Museum Discovery Lab.

They will celebrate with a balloon drop at 12 p.m., when thousands of balloons will fall from the ceiling. The kids are calling it a "Noon Year" celebration.

They are all dressed in their New Year's Eve best, and a DJ is entertaining them. There are several New Year's themed activities and the chance to win door prizes. One of the contests is who can make the most creative noisemaker, and everything about the event is a big hit with the kids.

The party will last until about 1 p.m.
