Three people were taken to the hospital after a head-on collision in midtown Tulsa.

According to reports, around 5:30 Friday evening a sedan was headed west on 36th Street near Yale while a Dodge Durango was headed east.

When the light changed, reports say the sedan went through the intersection, lost control and hit the Durango head-on; a telephone pole was also hit.

Two people had to be extracted from the sedan, reports say.

The people taken to the hospital were said to have some broken bones, but no life threatening injuries.
