Third Man Dies Of Injuries From Coal County Oil Rig Explosion

OKLAHOMA CITY - A third man has died of injuries suffered in a December explosion at an oil rig in southern Oklahoma.

The wife of Mark Pittman told KXII, the CBS affiliate in Sherman, Texas that Pittman died January 3, 2015 at an Oklahoma City hospital where he was taken following the December 2014 explosion and fire at the rig near Coalgate.

Two other workers -- Gary Keenan, 26, of Ada and Kelsey Bellah, 27, of Catoosa -- died in the blast and fire and two more were injured.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the explosion.
