Police Make Arrests After Tracking Stolen Car To West Tulsa

Posted: Updated:
TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police say what initially was thought to be a carjacking has turned out to be anything but random.

TPD says the victim knew the suspects and went to his home to steal his vehicle. Officers tracked the vehicle to Southwest Boulevard and 49th West Avenue.

That's when three people, two women and a man, ran inside a Dollar General Store to hide. One of the women managed to escape.

Police arrested Michael Brumett and Jennifer Cobb.

“She got out of the store with the crowd of customer [being] directed out,” TPD Cpl. Jacob Johnston said.
