A woman jumped from a moving car to get help after a possible carjacking early Sunday. The incident started at an east Tulsa gas station and ended near the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa.

Police say the woman told them she was at the Flying J Truck Stop at Admiral and 129th East Avenue when she was abducted. She was driving a Lincoln sedan and bailed out of the car when they went to the McDonald's in the 300 block of North 193rd East Avenue in Catoosa.

While the woman banged on the doors of the still-locked dining room, the Lincoln kept going - jumping a curb and coming to rest in a grassy ditch in the Hard Rock parking lot.

McDonald's employees called police who say it appears the male who abducted the woman got away in a car that was following them.

The woman was taken to the hospital with some injuries. Police believe she was struck during the carjacking.

Tulsa Police continue to investigate the incident and are planning to examine surveillance video from all the businesses involved.
