Three teenagers are recovering after being shot at a birthday party in northeast Oklahoma City.
It happened around 1 a.m. Sunday, near NE 36th St. and Lottie Ave. Hasheem Coleman, 16, said he should've listened to his gut feeling and not let his little brothers and sister go to a friend's birthday party.
"I told them that I don't really want you all here. Because I know that Club Ice, from previous things, and I let them go for some reason. I don't know why. I didn't want to," Coleman said.
So Coleman dropped off his three siblings Saturday night, and it wasn't long before he had to come right back.
"They were like, ‘Bro come get us, two people just got shot.'"

Police say a suspect opened fire shooting three teenagers. It's unclear where the shots were fired or what led up to the shooting in the first place.
While crime scene detectives combed the scene, frantic parents waited outside to pick up their kids. Police questioned dozens of the partygoers and held all the teens inside the building until 2 a.m.
Coleman is relieved his family wasn't hurt, but says it's upsetting a simple birthday celebration erupted in gunfire.
"You should be able to go somewhere and just have a good time without it having to be a shooting, but in this generation, there's no such thing,” Coleman said. "Everybody turning to gangs and to guns and it's stupid."
No word on the condition of the three injured teenagers, whose names have not been released.
Police also have not released any suspect information nor have said if any arrests were made.
