Inola Children Begin Returning To Classes After Mass Absences

Posted: Updated:
INOLA, Oklahoma - Students began returning to classes in Inola after illness caused about half of elementary students to miss school on Tuesday.

More than 80 of those children were back in school on Wednesday.

The superintendent thinks many of the absences may have been parents who didn't want their children to catch something contagious.

The school is using a machine to clean rooms and hallways every night, in addition to its normal precautions like using hand sanitzer and disinfecting desks several times a day, officials said.
