Bartlesville Police arrested a man Tuesday night in connection with the armed robbery of a CVS Pharmacy store earlier in the evening.

Police booked Jason Gaghins, 29, into the Washington County jail.

Police said Gaghins walked into the CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of Frank Phillips and Washington Boulevards just before 7 p.m. Tuesday and implied he had a handgun. After getting money from a clerk at the front register, he ran out and headed south.

Police Captain Jay Hastings said detectives looked at store surveillance video and talked with the clerk and witnesses, then tracked Gaghins to motel room about a quarter mile west of the pharmacy.

Officers obtained a search warrant of Gaghins' motel room and recovered several items related to the robbery, Hastings said.

Police said the clerk was not injured.
